Setup

Welcome to Ollamac Pro! This guide will help you get started with setting up the application.

Installation

1. Download Ollamac Pro: Download the latest version of Ollamac
2. Extract the archive: Unzip the downloaded file
3. Install the application: Drag Ollamac Pro to your Applications folder
4. Launch the application: Open Ollamac Pro from your Applications folder

First Launch

When you first launch Ollamac Pro, you'll need to:

1. Configure Ollama Server: Set up your local or remote Ollama server connection
2. Install a model: Make sure you have installed a least one model using the Ollama CLI
3. Select Models: Choose which AI models you want to use
4. Customize Settings: Configure your preferences for chat behavior and appearance

Ollama Server Configuration

Local Server

If you're running Ollama locally:

• Make sure Ollama is installed and running on your Mac
• The default connection URL is http://localhost:11434
• Ollamac Pro will automatically detect your local Ollama installation

Remote Server

To connect to a remote Ollama server:

1. Go to Settings > Server Configuration
2. Enter your remote server URL
3. Add any required authentication credentials
4. Test the connection
